COLORADO CUB Sponsors Oratex Installation Workshop

Delta, CO — April 24, 2025 — On April 19th, 2025, COLORADO CUB, in partnership with EAA Chapter 1373, proudly sponsored a hands-on Oratex Fabric Installation Workshop in Delta, Colorado. The event brought together sixteen enthusiastic aircraft builders eager to expand their skills and knowledge in modern fabric covering techniques.

The workshop was led by Brent and Amy Hoskins of Bad Amy Aircraft, recognized experts in aircraft restoration and Oratex applications. Through comprehensive instruction and live demonstrations, attendees gained valuable experience in the application of Oratex — an innovative, lightweight, and solvent-free aircraft covering system known for its ease of installation and durability.

“Workshops like this are vital for empowering the homebuilt aviation community,” said Brent Hoskins. “It’s always exciting to see the passion and precision these builders bring to their projects.”

Participants left the session with greater confidence and a deeper understanding of how to properly install Oratex fabric — a key step in the journey of bringing their aircraft to life.

COLORADO CUB and EAA Chapter 1373 extend their gratitude to Brent and Amy Hoskins for sharing their expertise, and to all who attended and contributed to the event's success.
